
WHO WE ARE
Columbia River Region ASPRS is the Oregon chapter of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS). Our mission is to advance knowledge and improve understanding of mapping sciences to promote the responsible applications of photogrammetry, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), and supporting technologies.
WHAT WE DO
We have a variety of activities year round where you can learn more about GIS, remote sensing and photogrammetry.
GIS in Action - http://www.gisinaction.org/ - Our annual conference where we have professional level workshops and training opportunities, networking opportunities and learn whats new in the GIS and remote sensing fields.
Thirsty Thursday - Monthly meet up on the third Thursday of each month at the Lucky Lab (915 SE Hawthorne Blvd).
Tech Exchange - Yearly event in the fall where GIS and remote sensing professionals and students present on their achievements of the year.
Annual Dinner - Every February members get together for dinner and learn about the groups past years accomplishments and plans for the next year.
